Free Flight Model Airplane builds / Breda 88

This was the hardest FF model to date to build. Still waiting to find some place to fly this plane and all my planes since the FAA saw fit to close our fields.



Breda 88, DVIII and an American Eaglet all waiting for flight tests.



This plane with it's 30 inch span only weighs 5 ounces. But still can't be legally flown in most locations. The FAA has even put a stranglehold on FF models.

This has to be one of the best scratch builds I have ever done and so overlooked because it's not a spaceship. It's a Russian gun boat. A tank boat designed to go up shallow waters and beat the hell out of the germans.

Every single part was mastered and molded. Even the T-34 turret was. Only two kits were made but mine was the only built and sailed.

I still have it on the studio but few ever notice it in the shadow of the Enterprise. Believe me this was harder to make.

I built this from plans last year. It's an Aquila Grande from the 70's. Wonderful glider. All wood construction. Flies great.

I created the mask and did the puppetterring with Bob Burns and my late wife Gilly.

Doug Jones played the character. Seen here Bob and Doug. I took the picture on set.





Mark Siegel sculpted the first version of Mac and this one here I did.
